In almost every region of the land, groups of druids have formed into circles, or tight-knit clans. These druid circles adhere to a strict code of protecting and preserving the balance of nature in the area they dwell. Druid circles are separate from each other, yet they sometimes aid each other, or step outside the boundaries of their territory if the need to restore natural balance is great. Each circle is typically named after the region which they are found. For instance, there is a Thunderwood Circle, Circle of the Shadowmoor, and even druids living in the mountains known as the Iron Hills Circle. While most druid circles have a deep reverence to the goddess Silvarus Elventree, other deities can be worshipped, or none at all – those druids may worship or honor the elements or nature alone.
