House Lockwood is ruled by the Gnomish Lord Bronn Lockwood. He is an opportunist and exceptional tradesman. Bronn’s clan is made up of fine craftsmen and they deal in the trading of any and all goods and services one can think of. House Lockwood has two estates: Lockwood Manor can be found in Soleil, on the western reaches of Astoria. His second estate is located in New Brook, just to the north. He competes vigilantly with the halfling lords in New Brook, even though he and Lord Havenshire belong to the Deepwater Trading Company. Because the two houses argue incessantly over petty grievances and the acquisitions of certain mining operations, they have spent little time actually resolving their differences.
The finest gnome engineers and craftsmen come from this clan. Lord Bronn is a proud descendant of the gnome engineers who crafted some of the grandest structures in the city of Rithlanna and abroad, long before the Sundering. It is also said that some of the most powerful and dangerous magi who existed during that tumultuous time were in fact gnomes; many of them from this very clan. Hunters of magi (namely, The Crimson Sword) have always held a special interest in all gnomes, especially House Lockwood.
